My name is Cody Mullins. I joined the staff of Open Road Biker Church in February 2015 where I currently serve as Youth Minister. My wife Pilar and I both attended Georgetown High School where we met several years ago. I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior in August of 2013 and then got baptized September 8, 2013. My life has never been the same because I know that if I hadn’t listened to God, I’d be completely lost. From that day on, my calling and desire has been to show the youth what their lives can be when Jesus is who they live for. My wife and I hope to one day have our own orphanage or group home where we would be able to share God’s word, but in the meantime we enjoy loving on the youth at Open Road Biker Church. We know that God willing, our dream will come true regardless. Our plan is to always put God first, and to continue to make Him the center of every conversation, to always be humble, and to always try our hardest to give people Jesus.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 KJV.
Christa Carlin is a mom of three who has been working in the children's ministry for a number of years. She also teaches at a local day care with three year olds. I love the lord and I love kiddos. I also understand how important it is to teach children how much God loves them. In the Nursery , we love working and playing and loving your children while church members attend worship services, learning more about God. We enjoy watching them grow up and move on to the next class. I teach and talk about what goes on in the their world. What challenges them in school, life, home, and how to use all of it to get closer to God. For them to know there is one more person in their corner. Proverbs 22:6 is my one of my favorite verses. I want to teach our future generations to love the lord and to live by his laws.
My name is Tanya Groves. My husband, Michael, and I have been married for 20 years, have 3 grown children and 8 beautiful grandchildren. In our free time, we enjoy riding our motorcycles in the beautiful Hill Country that our wonderful Creator has made. God called me to serve, in many realms, at ORBC, in 2011. I received the gift of salvation here so this is a very special place to me and to so many others. In 2015, I began leading our ladies’ Bible study group. In 2017, I became our Women’s Ministry Leader. Being the Women’s Ministry Leader is such a gift and I have been extremely blessed by leading such an amazing group of women. I look forward to and I’m excited to be a part of all that the Lord will continue to do with this ministry. Proverbs 31:30 “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises. Psalm 98:4 KJV
Music is a part of our everyday life. Open Road Biker Church is dedicated to biblical teaching. God’s word tells us that part of our worship is to sing praises to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Our worship team, comprised of church volunteers, provides an integration of new and old, classical and contemporary hymns that give glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this because it is biblical in nature, as the longest book in the Bible is its song book, Psalms.
We strive to assure that each service has a well-balanced program of music that elevates the individual soul, brings peace, and display our commitment to our Savior through song. Join us in worship as we sing praise, share the gospel, and offer comfort to the soul through worship and song.
Our Road Captains are responsible for all motorcycle rides, promoting safe riding practices, and act as our tour guide as Open Road Biker Church brings the message of Jesus Christ to the community through fellowship and the love of riding. Our Road Captains assure safe travel, helps riders with problems, and manages group separation. Come worship and come ride with us.
